Butterfly Wings

I have been helping Vivi with her science fair project. She took butterfly wings and had her dad take pictures with the electron microscope. I will never look at a butterfly the same way. The shape of their scales (yes, butterflies have scales) help them be waterproof and also give them their iridescent color that protects them from preditors. It is facinating. The more Neil and the kids drag me kicking and screaming into the world of science, the more I am amazed by the intricate detail and evidence that there is a loving Heavenly Father, the creator of us all.
